The SSUMC’s Building Beloved Community Committee has coalesced around a set of affordable housing design and church renovation concepts that were presented to the church and community on November 10, 2024. We anticipate making some modest changes to the current plans before they are finalized, both to better accommodate drop-off and pick-up traffic right next to the church main entrance, and to ensure feasibility and full conformance with local building codes as our general contractor and civil engineering partners review the drawings. We have no public events planned for the immediate future and wish everyone happy and blessed holidays.
